Abstract:

The Exomars 2018 Rover mission is an extended ESA and Roscosmos cooperation devoting to develop a Composite Spacecraft, consisting of a Carrier Module and a Descent Module that will safely delivery a Rover on the Mars Surface. The paper summarizes the Carrier Module Attitude and Orbit Control System and the Descent Guidance Navigation and Control System design; furthermore, the most significant results of the preliminary E2E Mission Simulator are presented to provide evidence of the validity of the mission concept.
