This article presents the details of a four-small control moment gyro (CMG) cluster and its experimental results performed at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). The four CMGs which are able to produces torque of 100 mNm per each axis, are mounted in a typical pyramid configuration with a skew angle of 57.9 deg. A single axis maneuver test and a steering law test are performed to confirm the performance of the CMG, and the four-small CMG cluster was verified to be an efficient and highly capable actuator.
