Abstract:

This paper explains how the AstroBus Product line has been developed in Airbus, from 2008 up to now, to cover a very large number of LEO missions. The incremental development scheme selected for AstroBus allowed to include ?Options? in the product, when they were needed by one programme, providing the opportunity to reuse this option for the next programme of the AstroBus family, at low cost (no new development). Today, the Product line can be used to answer to the need of a large number of customers including institutional customers, Export customers, and also Airbus internal customer for an end to end use of the satellite in an Airbus group application.
